Human Resources Manager
Hotels and Resorts Investment Pvt Ltd – H. A. R. I. M (HARIM Group) is seeking a dynamic and people-centred Human Resources Manager to lead our People & Culture function across a diverse portfolio of companies in hospitality, real estate, and marine services.

About the Role
Reporting directly to the COO – People & Culture, the HR Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping an engaged, high-performing, and values-driven workplace. The position oversees all facets of HR, including people operations, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, recruitment, compliance, and wellbeing.
It’s both a strategic and hands-on leadership role guiding policy, leading projects, and ensuring smooth HR operations across all subsidiaries of HARIM Group.
You’ll partner closely with the Senior Management Team to champion best practice in people management, maintain organisational compliance, and nurture a culture built on integrity, inclusion, and growth..
Key Responsibilities
People & Culture Leadership
Champion a culture of accountability, inclusion, and wellbeing across all HARIM companies.
Act as a trusted advisor to managers and staff, balancing empathy with business clarity.
Lead employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives that reinforce company values.
Keep a finger on the pulse of workplace culture and proactively recommend improvements.
Performance & Capability
Oversee performance management and appraisal processes, ensuring timely reviews and constructive feedback.
Support managers in handling performance conversations and developing their teams.
Lead the annual remuneration and recognition cycle in coordination with Finance and SMT.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs to build capability at every level.
HR Operations & Compliance
Oversee recruitment and onboarding to ensure smooth, professional, and brand-aligned experiences.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with Maldivian labour law and company policy.
Manage disciplinary and grievance processes with fairness, professionalism, and discretion.
Lead updates and implementation of HR policies, ensuring clarity and alignment with current regulations.
Oversee occupational health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring safe work environments.
Systems, Data & Improvement
Manage and enhance the Group’s HR information systems (SAP).
Use data and analytics to track trends in turnover, performance, and engagement.
Drive process improvement and digitalisation within HR for greater efficiency.
Strategic Support & Projects
Support organisational design, workforce planning, and succession initiatives.
Contribute to SMT reporting and board submissions related to people performance.
Lead or contribute to key People & Culture projects across the Group.
About You
You’re a grounded and emotionally intelligent HR professional who leads with integrity, builds trust quickly, and communicates with both clarity and warmth. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing structure with adaptability, and always keeping people at the heart of every process.
You will bring:
A degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or related discipline.
Strong command of both English and Dhivehi, with excellent communication skills.
At least 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within corporate or multi-sector environments.
Strong working knowledge of employment law, policy design, and performance frameworks.
Proven experience handling sensitive matters with discretion and sound judgment.
High proficiency in HR systems (SAP or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
A collaborative, proactive approach with a genuine commitment to people development.
