Finance Manager

HARIM Group is seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Finance Manager to lead the financial management function across its diverse portfolio of companies in hospitality, real estate, and marine services.

This role calls for a trusted professional who combines strategic insight with operational precision - someone who can balance strong analytical and technical capability with sound business judgment and leadership.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will play a central role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic growth, and strengthening governance across the Group.

Reporting to the Group Chairman and Vice Chair, this role is responsible for ensuring strong financial management, accurate reporting, and effective business support systems that drive performance, accountability, and growth across all companies under the Group.

The Finance Manager will lead a small finance team, work closely with department heads, and act as a key advisor to the Senior Management Team on financial and operational matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management

    • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across the Group.

    • Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial statements in accordance with local and international standards.

    • Produce monthly management accounts, quarterly reports, and analysis for internal stakeholders and banking partners.

    • Oversee inter-company reconciliations and fixed asset register maintenance.

    • Develop and monitor departmental and project budgets to improve recoverability and profitability.

    • Lead tax planning and compliance, ensuring all statutory obligations are met.

    • Ensure internal controls, reporting accuracy, and adherence to compliance standards.

    • Support the SMT with strategic financial planning, risk assessment, and performance insights.

    Business Support & Process Improvement

    • Provide sound business advice based on financial performance metrics and operational trends.

    • Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue improvement strategies.

    • Conduct internal audits and process reviews to ensure best practices and financial integrity.

    • Oversee supplier management, cost control, and contract compliance processes.

    • Contribute to operational initiatives and system improvements.

    Leadership & Team Development

    • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering accountability and growth.

    • Oversee performance reviews, training, and personal development planning.

    • Contribute to the recruitment and onboarding of finance staff.

    • Promote collaboration between Finance and other departments, supporting cross-functional projects.

    • Maintain open communication with the Finance team, SMT, and external auditors, ensuring transparency and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in financial management or senior accounting roles, ideally within corporate or multi-entity organisations.

  • Proven experience in internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

  • Strong proficiency in SAP, Excel, and financial analysis tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear financial insight that supports operational decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • Prior experience in construction, property development, or project-based businesses is an advantage.
